Pacific Union “All God’s People,” Episode 032-January 12, 2018



Happy New Year! All God’s People is starting this year off with a few stories to share how God is working in powerful ways in the Pacific Southwest.
This last Christmas, 3,300 volunteers came together to live God’s love through medical mission work right here in the Pacific Union. Working closely with the Arizona Conference and the pastors and churches in Phoenix, Pathway to Health provided medical, dental, vision, physical therapy, lifestyle education, financial, legal, childcare, haircuts and even surgical specialties to 6,770 people in need of care. Pathways was a true Christmas miracle. Pathway to Health is being followed up with Health Information Centers to help people find better ways to live.

The prison ministry organized and directed by the South Bay San Diego Seventh-day Adventist Churches is making an exciting impact. In three days, we celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Dr. King was born on January 15, 1929, and the Federal Holiday next Monday offers us a reminder to reflect on the important work to which Dr. King devoted his life.
In honor of Martin Luther King Day, national parks and national forests across the U.S. that charge entrance fees will be free for visitors on Monday.
