Unto These Hills
I live in an area of Southern California surrounded by hills – hills that turn to lush green after the rain. Hills that bring me comfort in times of uncertainty. Hills that remind me of Psalm 121:1-2, “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth” (KJV). I will continue to “lift up my eyes to the hills” and remember where my help comes from. It comes from God.

Holbrook Indian School Students Place Among Top 5 At Navajo Nation Science Fair
This school year, six junior high and high school students at Holbrook Indian School in Holbrook, Ariz., participated in the Navajo Nation Science Fair. The fair took place on the Navajo Reservation in Church Rock, New Mexico. Out of 300 entries, Holbrook students placed in the top five for each of their specific subjects. Jenesis, who won 2nd place in the junior division, looked at how mealworms eat plastic. Her findings showed that mealworms favor certain kinds of plastic over others and concluded that mealworms can help reduce the plastic waste issue that plagues the planet. Staff at Holbrook shared, “We are so proud of our students and how well they did! Looking forward to next year!”
