The holidays are coming up, and many families find it hard to cope during these difficult times. Students at the Peninsula Adventist School (PAS) in Seaside, Calif., recently worked on a project to provide some comfort to family members who have lost a loved one during the pandemic. The students created cards with words of comfort, strength, and hope with Biblical references. In Bible class and chapel, they have learned the importance of supporting and comforting those who are mourning, from a Biblical perspective. “The students at the Peninsula Adventist School are rather sympathetic to individuals who are struggling during this time of Covid,” shared Shane Francis, a teacher at PAS. The PAS teachers and staff have worked diligently to foster and comfort students and their parents during these difficult times. They took the initiative to create cards for a family going through difficult times and encourage them that no matter the circumstances and obstacles that arise, God’s Word brings love, hope, joy, comfort, and peace.
