Western Adventist Foundation
The Western Adventist Foundation (WAF), located in Scottsdale, AZ, is dedicated to management of financial resources toward the purpose of expanding God’s work through the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Its employees fulfill a wide range of duties, from managing multi-million dollar accounts to performing basic accounting tasks. All the Foundation’s work is executed with this focus in mind. The Foundation’s senior staff have a combined total of almost 100 years of experience in gift planning and trust administration. Services offered include: accounting, preparing and filing taxes, creating gift plans, distributing gifts, managing donor files, managing endowments, providing education, and assisting with investments.

Jim has a long history in financial management, with his positions including vice president of WAF, associate manager of the Loma Linda University Foundation, treasurer-controller/associate director of the Northern California Association of Seventh-day Adventists, and associate controller for the Central California Conference Association of Seventh-day Adventists. He notes that “the measure of our success is donor and client satisfaction. We work relentlessly for those who put their trust in us.”
