Gardena Genesis Community
Practices Living God’s Love

Gardena Genesis Community Church (GGCC) believes outreach is a way to show God’s love to those around them. This is why they’ve started a barrage of community services and programs, including their ReGenesis Thrift-store. Recently, the team at ReGenesis handed out free backpacks to students returning to school. Looking forward, the team at ReGenesis and GGCC are excited for their summer plans of hosting a Farmers Market where the thrift will expand its community footprint of service.

Lodi Adventist Academy
Invites Special Guests to Banquet

Students at Lodi Adventist Academy recently found a special way to reach out to their peers at Paradise Adventist Academy. When the LAA Student Association learned that the Paradise students wouldn’t have their own banquet due to the fires, they decided to invite PAA to their banquet. This idea from LAA students inspired staff to send Suburban vehicles decked out with sparkling cider, snacks, lights, and blankets to transport PAA students down and back in style. Lodi hosted over 30 students and sponsors from PAA at the banquet on the Delta King in Sacramento. Their memorable evening was made even more special because of their guests—and it all started with a good idea.
