Press Together Juicery
Connects with Digital
Community
Since their grand opening in May, Press Together (a cold-pressed juicery owned by the Seventh-day Adventist Church and operated in Ogden, Utah) has steadily built up their connections to both the local community and the digital one. Every week on Instagram, Abel and Jazmin Alvarado (husband and wife duo who manage the juicery) share about Press Together with over 1.4K followers. “We want to share how juicing can help people live a healthier lifestyle,” Jazmin says. From videos of how they make their cold-pressed juices, to photos of their Detox products, to sharing about the mission of Press Together, they are using this social media platform to give the digital community a behind-the-scenes look at a juicery that wants to make a difference.

Summer on the Run
Visits Children in
Yuba City, Calif.
Northern California Conference’s popular Summer on the Run ministry traveled to the Adventist Christian School of Yuba City for the week of July 15-19. Because so many kids signed up, registration was closed before the event! This mobile youth ministry, sponsored by the NCC youth department, sets up at various locations throughout our conference territory, bringing fun activities and sharing the good news of Jesus.
