“Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give peace to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid.” –John 14:27 (NLV)

A message from Pastor Ricardo Graham

Throughout the Scriptures we are encouraged to put our trust in God’s care. The promise of His grace is not that we will not encounter difficulties, but that we will not be left to meet them alone: Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23:4
Please pray for God’s grace and presence during this difficult time.

Riverview Christian Academy Celebrates Read Across America Day

Riverview Christian Academy in Reno, Nev., celebrated Read Across America Day in early March by inviting all of the staff and students to come to school dressed as a character from a book. Throughout the morning, various guest readers came to read to the students. Guests included Nevada-Utah Conference leadership, as well as Reno Chief of Police Jason Soto, who came and read The Cat in the Hat. Pastors of the local churches came to read as well. To the astonishment of all, ABC News Channel 8 came to video the event and interview some of the staff.
