“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” –John 14:27
Solid as a Rock
When the world around me is shifting; when information is updated daily, and often hourly; when I can no longer worship in my church with my friends and family, I remember that there is a Rock. He is higher and more solid than anything in my earthly grasp. “From the end of the earth I will cry to You, When my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I” Psalm 61:2 (NKJV).

Hawaii Schools Donate Cleaning Supplies to Local Hospitals During COVID-19 Pandemic
Upon learning about the national shortage on masks and other equipment that hospitals use, several schools in Hawaii decided to act. Adventist Malama Elementary School was the first to respond— delivering disinfecting wipes, bleach, gloves, and other cleaning supplies to Adventist Health Castle on Monday, March 23. On Thursday, March 26, HMA Ka Lama Iki’s Principal, Sera Hanson Traczyk, and teacher Angela Weidemann delivered cleaning supplies to Adventist Health Castle from Adventist Malama Elementary School, HMA Ka Lama Iki, and HMA Windward campuses. “Blessed to be able to help those on the frontline during this COVID-19 pandemic,” shared Miki Nelson, superintendent of schools for the Hawaii Conference.
