We live in a world where everyone and everything tries to tell us who we are. Amidst this noise, finding a space that nurtures your true identity becomes invaluable. For me, that place has been Camp Waianae, where I have had the privilege of working for four years now. Each year, the experience becomes richer and more fulfilling, and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the staff.
Camp Waianae offers staff members the chance to share the love of Jesus with our campers in fun and creative ways throughout the summer. Our theme for this year's camp was "The Kingdom," inspired by Matthew 6:33: “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you” (NKJV). Through this theme, we hoped to convey to our campers that seeking the kingdom of God is a transformative journey that shapes our lives and our interactions with one another.
This summer, we emphasized to our campers that the kingdom of God is present both now and forever. It has been our privilege to witness the growth and transformation in their lives as they embraced this truth. Each day at camp was filled with moments of joy, learning, and spiritual enrichment, and we were blessed to see the impact it had on everyone involved.
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all who have been a part of our camp ministry this summer. Your support and involvement have been instrumental in making this experience possible. We look forward to continuing this journey together, sharing the love of Jesus, and nurturing the faith of our campers in the years to come.

Camp Waianae celebra otro exitoso verano
Vivimos en una era en la que todo el mundo y todo intenta decirnos quiénes somos. En medio de ese ruido, encontrar un espacio que nutra tu verdadera identidad se vuelve invaluable. Para mí, ese lugar ha sido Camp Waianae, donde he tenido el privilegio de trabajar durante cuatro años. Cada año, la experiencia se vuelve más profunda y satisfactoria, y estoy increíblemente agradecido por la oportunidad de ser parte del personal.
Camp Waianae ofrece a los miembros del personal la oportunidad de compartir el amor de Jesús con nuestros acampantes de manera divertida y creativa durante todo el verano. Nuestro tema para el campamento de este año fue «El Reino», inspirado en Mateo 6:33: «Mas buscad primeramente el reino de Dios y su justicia, y todas estas cosas os serán añadidas». A través de ese tema, esperamos transmitir a nuestros acampantes que buscar el reino de Dios es un viaje transformador que da forma a nuestras vidas y a nuestras interacciones entre nosotros.
Este verano, enfatizamos a nuestros acampantes que el reino de Dios está presente tanto ahora como para siempre. Ha sido nuestro privilegio presenciar el crecimiento y la transformación en sus vidas al abrazar esa verdad. Cada día el campamento estuvo lleno de momentos de alegría, aprendizaje y enriquecimiento espiritual, y tuvimos la bendición de ver el impacto que tuvo en todos los involucrados.
Queremos extender nuestro más sincero agradecimiento a todos los que han sido parte de nuestro ministerio de campamento este verano. Su apoyo y participación han sido fundamentales para hacer posible esa experiencia. Esperamos continuar este viaje juntos, compartiendo el amor de Jesús y nutriendo la fe de nuestros acampantes en los años venideros.
