Pleasant Hill church recently received a significant addition to its community services toolbox: a brand-new shower trailer. A decade in the making, this idea is the culmination of several iterations, community research, and generous donations.
The head pastor, Mitch Williams, said, “The necessity for hygiene services for the unsheltered was glaringly apparent. Our team already provides food to approximately 100 individuals weekly, and we deeply understand the need. This trailer represents the next phase of our community service, a step toward restoring dignity and enhancing well-being.”
With this knowledge, a generous grant, and local church fundraising, they procured a 26-foot trailer with four bathrooms and showers. The trailer is available for service at the church, and hygiene kits, haircuts, and other volunteer services are offered.

La iglesia de Pleasant Hill recibió recientemente una adición significativa a su caja de herramientas de servicios comunitarios: un nuevo tráiler con ducha. Con una década de elaboración, esa idea es la culminación de varias iteraciones, investigación comunitaria y generosas donaciones.

Nuestro equipo ya proporciona alimentos a aproximadamente 100 personas semanalmente, y entendemos profundamente la necesidad. Ese tráiler representa la siguiente fase de nuestro servicio comunitario, un paso hacia la restauración de la dignidad y la mejora del bienestar».
Con ese conocimiento, una generosa subvención y la recaudación de fondos de la iglesia, adquirieron un remolque de 26 pies con cuatro baños y duchas. El remolque está disponible para el servicio en la iglesia, y se ofrecen estuches de higiene, cortes de cabello y otros servicios.
