On November 5, over 1,000 attendees representing 28 Adventurer clubs from all over Arizona gathered at Paradise Valley Park in Northern Phoenix to participate in the annual Adventurer Fun Day. Organized by the Arizona Conference Club Ministries Department and supported by nearly 150 volunteers, the event is a major undertaking that begins with plans set in place a year in advance.
The theme for this year’s event was “My Friend Jesus,” and 19 booths spread around the park had crafts, learning activities, and games that were centered around that theme. Each booth was managed by one of the clubs in attendance and included a booth from Thunderbird Christian Elementary school. The goal of the event was to provide a fun experience for Adventurers and their families in a safe Christian environment.
“Our team was prepared and organized,” said Youth and Children’s Ministries Director Manny Cruz. “Gaby [Administrative Assistant Gabriela Corella] did an excellent job with communicating information to our team of coordinators.”

Los Aventureros se divierten
El 5 de noviembre, más de 1,000 asistentes que representaban a 28 clubes de Aventureros de todo Arizona se reunieron en el Parque Paradise Valley en el norte de Phoenix para participar en el Día de Diversión Anual de Aventureros. Organizado por el Arizona Conference Club Ministries y apoyado por casi 150 voluntarios, el evento es una gran empresa que comienza con planes establecidos con un año de anticipación.
El tema del evento de este año fue «Mi amigo Jesús», y 19 puestos repartidos por todo el parque tenían manualidades, actividades de aprendizaje y juegos centrados en ese tema. Cada puesto fue administrado por uno de los clubes que asistieron e incluyó un stand de la escuela Thunderbird Christian Elementary. El objetivo del evento fue proporcionar una experiencia divertida para los Aventureros y sus familias en un ambiente cristiano seguro.
«Nuestro equipo estaba preparado y organizado», dijo el director de Ministerio de Jóvenes y Niños, Manny Cruz. «Gaby [la asistente administrativa Gabriela Corella] hizo un excelente trabajo comunicando información a nuestro equipo de coordinadores».
