This year, I had the privilege of directing the Christmas program at Hawaiian Mission Academy (HMA). As the worship leader at Kaneohe church, I was so excited to begin teaching at HMA and sharing my passion for music with the students. I’ve been incredibly grateful for the unwavering support and encouragement from our leadership. Honestly, these kids inspire me every day with their love for God. I’ve learned so much from them, and it’s been a joy to see their enthusiasm grow throughout this process.
The program’s success was truly a testament to the hard work and dedication of the teachers.

At the end of the day, I feel like all I did was pick some songs and wave my hands on stage—everything else was thanks to the students and teachers who poured their hearts into making this happen.
This entire experience has been such a learning opportunity for me. It’s reminded me of why I love teaching and how meaningful it is to make an impact in the lives of young people. I feel so blessed to have been part of this journey, and I am incredibly thankful to everyone who made it possible.

Hawaiian Mission Academy presenta concierto navideño
Este año, tuve el privilegio de dirigir el programa de Navidad de Hawaiian Mission Academy (HMA). Como líder de adoración en la iglesia de Kaneohe, estaba muy emocionado de comenzar a enseñar en HMA y compartir mi pasión por la música con los estudiantes. Estoy increíblemente agradecido por el apoyo y el aliento inquebrantables de nuestros líderes. Honestamente, esos niños me inspiran todos los días con su amor por Dios. He aprendido mucho de ellos y ha sido una alegría ver crecer su entusiasmo a lo largo de ese proceso.
El éxito del programa fue realmente un testamento del arduo trabajo y la dedicación de los maestros.

Jugaron un papel muy importante en convertir una pequeña visión en una hermosa realidad que glorificaba el nombre de Dios. Al final del día, siento que todo lo que hice fue elegir algunos cantos y mover mis brazos en el escenario, todo lo demás fue gracias a los estudiantes y maestros que pusieron sus corazones para que se llevara a cabo.
Toda esa experiencia ha sido una gran oportunidad de aprendizaje para mí. Me ha recordado por qué me encanta enseñar y lo significativo que es tener un impacto en la vida de los jóvenes. Me siento muy bendecido de haber sido parte de ese recorrido y estoy increíblemente agradecido con todos los que lo hicieron posible.
