This is the All God’s People Thanksgiving Special for 2024.
Now thank we all our God,
With heart and hands and voices,
Who wondrous things has done,
In whom this world rejoices.
Those are words from an old hymn I've known and sung since I was a child. It’s Number 559 in the Adventist Hymnal.
On this weekend before Thanksgiving 2024, they are the words on my mind and in my heart. I've been thinking a lot about Thanksgiving this week.
At the heart of Thanksgiving is just that: "Thanks-giving." A time of great gratitude. A time of joyous expression of our thankfulness. A day so significant that we’ve developed dozens of special traditions and rituals to celebrate it.
