La Sierra University held their 77 th Candlelight Concert on Friday, December 6. A highlight of every Christmas season is La Sierra University’s Candlelight Concert. It was a thrill to attend this year’s concert on Friday evening in the La Sierra University church—basking in the warm memories of Christmases past, joining in the congregational singing with the orchestra and chamber singers, listening to traditional carols and new arrangements of classics, and being a part of the festive and spiritual atmosphere. A big “thank you” to the music department of La Sierra University and to new president Dr. Christon Arthur, who warmly welcomed the audience to the special program.
